Tony Menegazzo Comments ERB-APA #51: A Reply

Tony Menegazzo - Thank you very much for the newspaper article on the history of cars. If one would read this article alone the information would tend to side with John Roy and Joe Ferrier. In defense, there is a couple of points I would like to make, however.

  1. The article was about American-made gas-powered cars. Before the gas-powered cars, there was a whole generation of steam and electric cars, which were not mentioned.
  2. The article was a history of US cars and there was no mention of the earlier French, English, and German autos.

The 1892 or 1893 auto Tarzan drove in Wisconsin, was a French steamer. Thanks for your participation.
