 J.G. Huckenpohler - Thanks very much for reading and commenting on it. Whether Clayton is correct or incorrect is way beyond me. I am not here to determine if he was telling the truth or not. My job is to form a chronology based on the provided information in the Tarzan series. There were more people there than Clayton. If he were wrong others would have corrected him in later discussions. Since no corrections were ever made, I assume Clayton to be correct. Can you prove otherwise?

James Michael Moody is a lifelong fan and collector of Edger Rice Burroughs. Moody has contributed over two hundred articles to various ERB-related fanzines over a span of forty-five years. He also manages an unauthorized Tarzan blog titled, Greystoke Chronologist: James Michael Moody. There the researcher chronologies the Tarzan books starting in May 1872 (known as the pushback theory) instead of the more excepted date May 1888.
