Raymond A, Cuthbert Comments ERB-APA #58: A Reply

Raymond A. Cuthbert - I really enjoy your zine's look. It's so professional. I envy you. It's nice of you to stand up for Alan concerning the John Harwood discussion, but sir, I cannot back up. Alan wrote a tremendous article about John Harwood; he deserves much credit. The bad thing he did was when he began discussing the chronology subject, Alan started mixing personal opinions and presenting them with facts, which caused the unwary to view his personal opinions as facts. All I did, sir, was offer a different view, my own personal opinion. Because of this, I was criticized for offering an opinion, and not facts. Now, you are saying it's okay for Alan to share his personal opinion, and me, not mine. I don't think so.

Just like Tarzan's birth date, John Harwood's 1872 and 1888 theories must be accepted by the individual fan. In a world where Tarzan is a real-life man living on the earth as we know it, one either excepts a May1872 Greystoke sailing date and Tarzan has a son named Korak, or you choose May 1888 as the Greystoke sailing date and Korak is not Tarzan's son. Your choice.
