Pete Ogden - I agree with you when you say Edgar Rice Burroughs was deliberately writing Tarzan Of The Apes (1872-1893) as if it occurred (1888-1909). I disagree with you when you say the anonymous narrator is D'Arnot. If you study the prologues, introductions, and forwards it is clear that John Carter's great-nephew is the anonymous narrator. Sorry, you are tired of the Tarzan chronology subject your input would be so valuable. That seems to be the trend, however, for you guys who went through it in the sixties
